Hydromed KS/H

This mattress system has been developed together with nursing staff, therapists and doctors for the treatment and prevention of decubitus in severely disabled and multiply handicapped people. With a support pressure of max. 19mmHG, it guarantees a healthy, anatomically correct position and provides perfect conditions for optimal care of the patient.

The gel/liquid mattress Hydromed KS / H, with a weight of 110kg, replaces the usual mattress and fits in every standard bed with an adjustable slatted frame.

The mattress consists of a liquid container with a capacity of approx. 110 litres including cushioning in head and foot areas thus making the elevation of the legs and upper body into a raised position possible.

A thermostat keeps the chosen temperature of between 26 and 36° C constant.

Installation of the modular mattress system ensures a simple exchange of components. The covers are washable up to 90° C and you can continue to use the mattress with a replacement cover when washing.
